An Intimate and Private Setting for Small Groups
Canyon Lodge is very exclusive; indeed, it is perfect for families and friends because it accommodates up to six guests. Furthermore, three king-size en-suite bedrooms with private decks overlook the canyon, providing every guest with secluded luxury. Additionally, open-air showers affixed to some suites and floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors overlooking the canyon create a flowing unity between outdoor and indoor spaces. Moreover, an outdoor dining area adjacent to the swimming pool allows for magical fireside dinners under the stars.
For added convenience, a private king-sized guides room is available at the lodge to accommodate guides who accompany guests on photographic or retreat vacations.
Casually Elegant with a Natural Atmosphere
Canyon Lodge seamlessly blends with its surroundings; indeed, it uses natural colors and textures to create a peaceful retreat amidst rugged, untamed wilderness. Furthermore, the Paaiskloof stream forms natural pools beneath the decks, where tigers occasionally stop for a drink. Additionally, a waterhole behind the lodge attracts a variety of wildlife species. Moreover, the lodge itself is built into the canyon’s cliff face, incorporating boulders that form unique rock features inside some rooms, thus enhancing the connection with the natural environment.

Accommodation
Nestled within 15,000 acres of private reserve, Kishindo’s Canyon Lodge offers three luxurious king-sized en-suite rooms. Furthermore, these rooms, along with spacious communal living areas, comfortably accommodate up to six guests. In addition, we provide a private king-sized room for guides who accompany guests on photographic or retreat vacations. Consequently, this arrangement ensures that both guests and their guides experience the utmost comfort during their stay, all while being immersed in the breathtaking surroundings of the reserve.

There is complimentary internet (Wi-Fi) access, however due to the remote location of the lodge, the wireless connection can be slow and intermittent.
Children age 10+ are welcome with prior arrangement. For the interest of safety, children’s participation in game activities is at the discretion of your guide.
Kosher and Halaal is available at an additional charge – please book in advance.

220V. Converters are also available and hairdryers are supplied in each suite.
Our lodge is completely solar powered and off-the-grid.
Backup diesel generators ensure we can continue to operate during long periods of cloud cover.
